MediaFrame · United States

Washington policy, traced
from idea to enforcement.

MediaFrame follows US policy from the think tanks where it starts, through Congress, the White House and the agencies, to rules, sanctions and enforcement — and shows how the press frames it along the way.

A proposed rule lands in the Federal Register on Tuesday, with sixty days for comment. Heritage argued for it last spring; a bill carrying the same idea was referred to committee in June; Fox News frames it as a sovereignty question while CNN frames it as an economic one. The pieces are public, but they sit in a dozen places — and the trail between them is what tells you where the policy is going. MediaFrame keeps that trail in one place, dated and linked to every source.

One board for Washington

The official record, as it moves

Bills and nominations from Congress.gov, CRS and GAO reports, Federal Register rules with their comment deadlines, regulations.gov dockets, OFAC and BIS sanctions and export controls, FARA filings and SEC EDGAR — dated, linked, and joined to the think-tank pieces that argued for them first.

How each side frames it

Which lens a source casts a debate through — security, economic, legal, moral — and when that lens shifts, with the headlines behind every label.

A Region filter on every view

Switch the board to US and every list narrows to sources based there; panels that summarise all regions say so. The same filter works in the data API and for AI agents.

How “US” is defined: by where a source is based, not what it covers. International bodies (UN, NATO, OECD) and wires appear alongside every region. “(headlines)” means read as headlines and links only. Coverage is growing: sources added in October 2026 have history from then on.

Data you can cite. Analysis you can trace.
