MediaFrame · France

French policy, as it breaks
across national and regional press.

MediaFrame watches the French press and the official record for policy stories that several outlets start carrying, and alerts you when one does.

An amendment passes by one vote on a Friday in a near-empty chamber. By evening dozens of outlets are carrying it, and it is still only a first-reading vote. The story is public, but you have to be reading the right French press to see it early, and the headlines rarely tell you how far it has really gone. MediaFrame keeps that trail in one place, dated and linked to every source.

One board for Paris

The official record, as it moves

Bills from the Senate's feed, with Assemblée, Légifrance and Bercy headlines from Google News, alongside IFRI and the foreign and armed forces ministries.

How each side frames it

Which lens a source casts a debate through — security, economic, legal, moral — and when that lens shifts, with the headlines behind every label.

A Region filter on every view

Switch the board to FR and every list narrows to sources based there; panels that summarise all regions say so. The same filter works in the data API and for AI agents.

How “FR” is defined: by where a source is based, not what it covers. International bodies (UN, NATO, OECD) and wires appear alongside every region. “(headlines)” means read as headlines and links only. Not yet covered: This is a headline edition. French press and official headlines are grouped by keyword, never read by a language model, so Framing and Ask do not cover them and they are not in the data API. A story's outlet count is coverage, not legal status: check the official record. National amendments are not tracked one by one. Coverage is growing: sources added in October 2026 have history from then on.
